Ms. Ruwet is a Senior Regulatory Compliance Consultant serving in The CommLaw Group’s Commpliance Division.

Ms. Ruwet provides regulatory reporting and compliance services to telecommunications companies seeking to outsource the tedious and time-consuming, but necessary, task of maintaining regulatory compliance through the tracking, completion and filing of monthly, quarterly and annual reports, fees, and contributions mandated by the various federal and state regulatory agencies, including the FCC, all 50 state utility commissions and Secretaries of State, and the CRTC.

Ms. Ruwet has extensive telecommunications experience with a concentration in regulatory reporting and compliance. Prior to joining The CommLaw Group as Consultant, Ms. Ruwet was Manager of External Affairs for nationwide CLEC, Convergent Communications, operating out of Denver, Colorado. While at Convergent, Ms. Ruwet helped develop and maintain the system and internal controls necessary to ensure the company’s strict compliance with the myriad of regulatory reports, filings and fees. Ms. Ruwet managed and trained personnel in regulatory procedures, helped obtain nationwide certification, wrote and maintained Convergent’s tariffs, and assisted in the negotiation of interconnection agreements.

Prior to Convergent, Ms. Ruwet was a Consultant Analyst at the highly-regarded firm, GVNW Consulting, Inc., where she provided accounting and regulatory services for small, independent telephone companies.

Ms. Ruwet is a graduate of the University of Denver where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Economics and International Studies. Ms. Ruwet graduated cum laude and was Phi Beta Kappa. Ms. Ruwet also graduated with distinction from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland, where she obtained a Master’s degree in Business and Management.
