Broadband Stimulus & Universal Broadband Funding

The broadband stimulus program presents a unique opportunity for corporations, non-profits and state and local governments alike to secure needed funding to support broadband development.  The program offers an occasion to truly advance innovative broadband-based technologies and mend and expand upon existing broadband infrastructure.  Grantees will enable the construction of a more stable and accessible broadband network and facilitate universal broadband deployment.

For those entities seeking to first determine whether they are eligible for stimulus dollars or looking for a better understanding of the complex application process, we offer preliminary consultations with counsel for the flat rate of $500.  As part of this consultation, counsel will provide a detailed explanation of the eligibility requirements and application process.  In addition, during this hour-long consultation, our attorneys will discuss how the program could shape a particular entities needs and business plan.

For parties that elect to actively seek stimulus dollars, we can provide the comprehensive legal services necessary to prepare the initial application and navigate through the approval process.  Subsequent to application approval, our attorneys and staff will provide professional advice on all matters affecting the applicant going forward, including providing recommendations on all legal and regulatory requirements applicable to broadband communications providers.  As part of our services, we can ensure compliance with FCC rules, provide advice on business planning and organization, taxes, contracts and advocate for your interests before federal and state agencies.

To set up a consultation or receive more information about our legal services, please contact Allison D. Rule at (703) 714-1300 or adr@www.commlawgroup.com.
